WHAT HAPPENS HERE
Here at St Margaret's, there are lots of opportunities to get involved. Below are just some of the great groups that happen within the life of this church.

St. Margaret's Music Group
Our music group plays a vital role fostering emotional connections and enriching the worship experience at St. Margaret's.
We are eager to expand our music group and invite musicians to help lead our efforts.
Additionally, we are looking for singers to join the St. Margaret's Singers, who enhance our Sunday worship.
Please come along and see if this is something for you.

St Margaret's Home Groups
There’s something powerful about doing life together.
At St Margaret’s Church, our new home groups are about building real connections, to open God’s Word side by side, to pray honestly, to walk the journey of faith and to encounter Jesus.
Whether you’re new, exploring, or have been part of church life for years, there’s a place for you.
“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” Proverbs 27:17
Come and be part of a community where we grow together in Jesus.

Here at St Margaret's we try to engage all the members of our church, especially the younger ones. We believe that Church belongs to everyone, those who are new and those who have been here a little longer.
We provide a range of options for our Children and Youth including:
Junior Church (Sundays)
Creche Zone (Sundays)
Little Rockets Toddler Group
(Tuesday 9.30am-11am)
We are always in need of volunteers as we continue to grow this ministry. If you want to be involved in these groups or want to maybe start something new then come along and get to know us, so we can discuss and make sure all the important checks are made.

Flower Team
Would you like to help shape the beauty and atmosphere of our worship?
Our Flower Team is a creative and meaningful ministry and we’d love you to be part of it.
Flowers offer a focus for prayer and reflect the seasons of the Church year, bringing joy and celebration at Easter, Christmas, and Harvest. They help tell the story of our faith in a visual and powerful way.
It’s a chance to be creative, serve others, and help make our church welcoming for all.
No experience needed, just a willingness to join in.
Come and be part of something beautiful.
Speak to us after the service or get in touch to find out more.

Environmental Team
St Margaret's Church is continually concerned about the welfare of God's creation this precious gift from God.
With this in mind we have been awarded the Silver A Rocha Award, because of the work done to reduce our impact on the planet. We continue to try and be proactive and have a great gardening group, undertake ecology experiments in our garden and want to do more.
We want to continue this work and need people who are passionate about the planet and how we live.
We are currently putting together a new Environmental group and if you want to part of this then please come along and get to know us.

Cleaning Team
A clean and well cared for church speaks volumes about who we are and what we value.
It reflects reverence for a sacred space, helps create a peaceful, distraction free environment for worship, and supports the health and safety of everyone who walks through our doors.
It also offers a warm, welcoming first impression to visitors and shows good stewardship of the building we’ve been entrusted with.
We’d love to invite people to be part of a new cleaning team, because many hands really do make light work. Serving in this way is a simple but meaningful expression of our call to serve one another, helping ensure that our church remains a place where all can feel known, valued, and at home.
If you can give time and energy please come along and talk to us about joining.

Looking for a relaxed, friendly space to unwind, have fun, and meet new people?
Join us every Tuesday evening at St Margaret’s Church for a free community board games night!
Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or someone who hasn’t picked up a board game in years, you are warmly welcome.
This is a place to laugh, connect, and belong, a space where everyone can feel known, valued, and loved. Come along on your own or bring a friend; there’ll always be a seat at the table for you.
We’ll have a range of games to suit all tastes, from quick and light-hearted to more thoughtful and strategic or even bring your favourite to share. As always there’ll be plenty of tea and coffee to keep you going!
Every Tuesday | 7pm – 10pm
