St Margaret’s Church has now officially become part of the Abbeylands Team Ministry. We have joined with St Mary's (Hawksworth Wood), St Andrew's (Moor Grange) and St Stephen's (Kirkstall) to form a single Ministry, each with a separate PCC but sharing clergy between the churches. This has meant some changes to service times to allow the clergy to preside over services on Sundays. The big change for St Margaret's Church is that the Sunday morning services at now start at 9:30am.

Fairtrade Church Award
St Margaret’s Church has just been officially recognised as a Fairtrade Church. What this means in practice is that, as a community, we have agreed to the following three goals:
To use Fairtrade tea and coffee after services and in all meetings for which we are responsible.(i.e. we might encourage but cannot insist on their use by other organisations using our premises)
Move forward on using other Fairtrade products such as sugar and biscuits at our own meetings.
Promote Fairtrade during the year through events, worship and other activities whenever possible.
The award recognises that we already run a Fairtrade stall selling a wide range of goods on three Sundays a month and use the Fairtrade tea and coffee in the Parish Centre.
