Almighty God, you have broken the tyranny of sin and have sent the Spirit of your Son into our hearts whereby we call you Father: give us grace to dedicate our freedom to your service, that we and all creation may be brought to the glorious liberty of the children of God; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.

AUCTION OF PROMISES

This Friday, 3rd July, at 7.30pm in the Parish Centre

The full list of Promises made is now on the notice board. Join us at the Auction. If you can’t come on the evening, put in a bid beforehand! Tell us the maximum you are prepared to bid for a Promise and we’ll bid on your behalf. Sealed bids should be given to Eunice Glover (226 7757) or Diane Childs (216 1844) any time up to the start of the Auction. Tickets from the Social Events Group at £2.50 to include Pie and Pea Supper.

All proceeds for BTF.

PIANO RECITAL

Saturday 4th July at 6.30pm in the Church Hall

The international pianist Jill Crossland will be performing works by Bach, Handel, Mendelssohn and Schumann. Admission £5, children free.

BACK TO CHURCH SUNDAY this year is on 27th September. We are now appealing for volunteers to help with the organisation of this special event. If you think you can help in any way please have a word with the Vicar or Ruth Ashbee.
